Oceane Roussea Forwood


 
Oceane is the youngest member of the Rousseau Forwood family to compete Nationally and Internationally in Acrobatic Gymnastics.

Training out of the Robertson Gymnastics Academy, Oceane has been performing competitively on the National scene since her first Australian Gymnastics Championships in 2011 where she came 4th in Level 6 Women's Trio. Since then, Oceane has continued to perform at her best, consistently taking out the Gold Medal at Australian Gymnastics Championships (2013 and 2014) and at the National Clubs Carnivals (2012, 2015 and 2016).

Internationally, Oceane has competed at two World Age Championships - 2014 in Paris, France where she finished in 11th and was the first reserve for finals, and 2016 in China where she finished in 14th place and was the 2nd reserve for finals. In 2017, Oceane had her best performance internationally where she finished 2nd in the Balance component and 3rd in the Dynamic component of the 2017 Las Vegas International.
