Kira Ward

Kira Ward’s strong performances at junior level both at a national and international level have cemented her place as one to watch over the coming years.

Bursting onto the scene in 2009 with a second placing in the Double Mini Trampoline and third in the Synchronised Trampoline competition, it wasn’t long until Ward was able to influence international competition, finishing a sensational third on the Double Mini Trampoline at her first attempt at the World Age Competition in 2011.

She backed this up with a fourth place in the 2013 edition of the World Age Championships in Bulgaria before winning both the Trampoline and Synchronised Trampoline competitions at the 2014 Indo Pacific Championships. In-between, she accumulated eight National titles.

In 2015, Ward was able to win National titles for Trampoline and Double Mini Trampoline, but narrowly missed out on a hat-trick of titles, finishing second in the Synchronised Trampoline competition.

Kira has continued to demonstrate her excellence, placing 8th in Trampoline and 9th in Synchronised Trampoline at the 2018 World Cup in Arosa, Switzerland.
