Isla Ross

Isla Ross began gymnastics at the age of 5 and is a superstar on the rise. Ross started training at the Super Performance Centre in QLD but was selected to trian at the Queensland High Performance Centre with Peter Abbot along with one of Australia's favourite gymnasts Rianna Mizzen.

Ross started her performance off strong competing at her first Australian National Championships in 2013 in the IDP 6 category. Isla finished 5th overall with an impressive 2nd on the Beam. This was the beginning for Isla, where she returned to the National Championships each year with more impressive routines including finishing 4th on Bars at the 2016 National Championships.  This is one of Ross' most memorable moments in gymnastics so far.

Ross has not reached international competition yet but she was selected to attend a National Training Camp in China in December 2016 and hopes to reach it in the future. Isla Ross is up coming junior and  is a name to watch in the next few years.
