Talia Folino

Talia Folino is arguably one of Australia's hottest gymnasts right now -  awarded the Elite Junior Gymnast of the Year Award in 2016!

Folino has made a solid start to her gymnastics career by securing the Junior National All-Around Champion titile for 2 consecutive years in 2013 and 2014 and then again at the 2016 National Championships. Her best performance was at the 2014 championships where she placed 1st in every apparatus.

To continue on from the successes in her Junior career, Folino made the step up to senior competition in 2017 where she was able to wow the crowd with more impressive performances. At her first international competition as a senior Talia put on a string of solid routines at the Gymnix Challenge event in Canada. Her dynamic Vault saw it awarded one of the highest scores of the event, while she hit her Bars routine, connecting her full toe to 1/2 shap. A total All-Around score of 52.567 saw Talia top the podium and crowned the Gymnix Challenge All-Around Champions for 2017!

Talia Folino is one to keep your eyes on in the upcoming years as she strives to represent Australia at the next olympic games in 2020.
