Team Future Camps for RG and TRP

Over 60 athletes, with their coaches, converged on Canberra from June 16 to 19 for the first Team Future Camps for 2016 in Rhythmic (RG) and Trampoline Gymnastics (TRP).

Invitations for Team Future camps are based on athlete’s progression along the IDEAL Skills Curriculum, by tracking through the Virtual Athlete Tracker.

Team Future camps focus on both non-technical and technical aspects, so that development back in the home training environment is optimised. The Keynote presentation for the June camps was ‘Effective Communication for Coaches’.

Physical testing is also a key component for training camps. The winners were:

TRP - Holly Kerslake & Liam Christie (both of Castle Hill RSL Gymnastics).
