2017 FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships to be broadcast on Fox Sports Australia





Gymnastics Australia is delighted to announce that next week’s 2017 FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships held in Montreal, Canada, are going to be broadcast live thanks to Fox Sports Australia!

In the first time that a World Championships has been broadcast live since the 2005 Artistic Gymnastics World Championships that were hosted in Melbourne, the Men’s and Women’s Individual All-Around Finals will be broadcast live, whilst both sessions of the Men’s and Women’s Individual Apparatus Finals will be broadcast ‘as live’ immediately following the conclusion of the competition.

Friday 6 October
– Men’s Individual All-Around Final – LIVE 9.55am-1.35pm AEDST on Fox Sports 507

Saturday 7 October – Women’s Individual All-Around Final – LIVE 9.50am-12.40pm AEDST on Fox Sports 507

Sunday 8 October – Men’s and Women’s Individual Apparatus Finals (part 1) – as-live 1-3pm AEDST (channel TBC)

Monday 9 October – Men’s and Women’s Individual Apparatus Finals (part 2) – as-live 11am-1pm AEDST (channel TBC)

**Please note that daylight savings comes into effect in Victoria, Tasmania, New South Wales, Australian Capital Territory and South Australia from Sunday 1 October.


In addition to the Fox Sports broadcast, we’re excited to announce that OVO will be broadcasting exclusive highlights packages from the event.  These will be available for all gymnastics fans to watch free of charge, and for customers of OVO to watch data-free at play.ovo.com.au.

Highlights will be uploaded following the conclusion of the following sessions:

Thursday 5 October – Men’s Individual All-Around Final – commences at 7pm local time (11am 06/10 AEDST)

Friday 6 October – Women’s Individual All-Around Final – commences at 7pm local time (11am 07/10 AEDST)

Saturday 7 October – Men’s and Women’s Individual Apparatus Finals (part 1) – commences at 1pm local time (4am 08/10 AEDST)

Sunday 8 October – Men’s and Women’s Individual Apparatus Finals (part 2) – commences at 1pm local time (4am 09/10 AEDST)

Sub Division 3 – Monday 2 October - 6-9pm local time (9am-12pm 03/10 AEDST)

Women
Sub Division 1 – Tuesday 3 October – 4-6pm local time (7-9am 04/10 AEDST)
