Talia Folino joins the University of Long Island

Having made her mark at the World Championships in Stuttgart, Germany last year, Talia Folino is looking to take her career to the next level by heading to the big apple.

Joining the University of Long Island in Brookville, New York, Talia will join the inaugural gymnastics program while studying Physical and Health Education.

“I am extremely excited to meet all my new team mates, to be independent and grow more whilst being away from home,” Talia noted.

Under the watchful eye of renowned USA gymnastics coach, Randy Lane, Talia will no doubt be keen to make an instant impression on the East Atlantic Gymnastics League.

“I was offered this amazing opportunity from Randy Lane and it was one that was impossible to turn down.

“Being a gymnast is hard, but it will be worth it in the end as it can offer such amazing opportunities like this one.”

As Talia looks to pack her bags and head to the United States, she notes it will be hard being “so far away from home and family, but I know I will be around supportive and friendly team-mates to help with that.”

Congratulations Talia. We wish you all the best and cannot wait to see what the future holds for you.
