Perry Drakopoulos

Drakopoulos is one of Australia’s most consistent and impressive Acrobatic gymnasts, recording very strong results at national and international level.

Since 2009, Drakopoulos has won seven consecutive National titles, ranging from Level 6 in 2009 to the 13-18 Mixed Trios title in 2015. However, perhaps even more eye-catching are his results on the international stage.

His first competition at international level was the World Age Group Competition in 2012, which saw Drakopoulos finish fifth. He recorded a very impressive second place in the 2013 Volkov World Cup. His results saw him take up the proud honour of reading the athletes’ oath at the 2014 World Age Competition, however, due to injury, he was unable to participate.
