Gymnastics Australia members ready to flex with launch of new Learning Management System

In partnership with industry online education leaders etrainu, Gymnastics Australia has launched a new education hub for gymnastics members across the country.

With improvements to ease-of-use, online course accessibility and user support, the new platform not only improves the user experience for judges, coaches and staff, it also allows club administrators with a greater level of oversight of the coursework of their staff members.

The bespoke LMS, affectionately known as Flex, will be a one-stop shop where gymnastics members can work on their courses, upload assessment tasks, enrol in workshops and in professional development offerings from both Gymnastics Australia and their local State or Territory Association.

Gymnastics Australia General Manager, Member Services, Brad Low said the development of the new LMS was a long-time coming and has been developed in direct response to feedback from members.

“Education is critical to the success of our coaches, judges and athletes. For a long time, our members were telling us that our old system was hard to navigate and not meeting their needs,” said Low. “We knew we needed a new system, but it was important that we found a provider that would work with us to really understand our current and future needs and the complexity of our sport. and We found that with etrainu.

“The new system not only improves the user experience of our members, but it also sets gymnastics education on a firm foundation that will ensure we can move with the times and offer a seamless and efficient education service to our members well into the future. The etrainu Learning Management System is the most simple and effective way to manage and monitor training across an entire organisation.

Speaking about the partnership, etrainu CEO, Paul Hoon said there were great synergies between the two organisations.

“Gymnastics Australia is the peak body for gymnastics supporting close to 12,000 coaches, judges and club owners. We were delighted to develop an integrated system that not only meet the needs of the business but also improves the learning experience for members.

“Flex has been an incredible project to bring to life due to the strong partnership relationship we have built with Gymnastics Australia. We enjoy building strong learning partnerships with organisations that care about their customers experience. Gymnastics Australia has joined our strong stable of Australian and International Customers with complex learning needs.”
