Gymnastics Australia release High Performance Plan for 2018 and beyond

Gymnastics Australia is excited to announce the release of its national High Performance Plan for 2018 and beyond.

By the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics Games, Gymnastics Australia aspires for its athletes in three of the four Olympic Gymsports - Men’s Artistic, Women’s Artistic and Trampoline Gymnastics - to be podium performers; contenders for winning Olympic and World Championship medals.

To achieve this, GA has embarked on a ten-year strategy underpinned by the development of the High Performance Plan (HPP) 2018+.

Upon the release of the HPP 2018+ Gymnastics Australia’s CEO, Kitty Chiller, said “there has been a lot of work that has gone into this Plan over the last 6 months.  The gymnastics community has been comprehensively consulted, with State and Territory Associations, Club owners, Coaches, Technical Directors and athletes having all had an input. What we have been able to produce is a framework for the next 10+ years, based on the recommendations from the HP Review held in late 2016.”
